A Storm Brings in Fishies
Written by dizzywoodexplorersjournal on June 13, 2008 – 12:38 pm -Early yesterday morning a storm was looming over Breakwater Beach. The waves came in as high as five feet, splashing on anyone and anything that came in its way. It was much too dangerous to sit at the beach, but after the morning had worn off, the waters were calm once again. Restored back to its peacefulness, Breakwater Beach reopened, and there was a frenzy to see what the storm had brought in. As many Explorers ran in for a swim, some realized they were stubbing their toes on something rough and hard on the ocean’s floor, almost giving them splinters on the bottoms of their feet. When they dove down, they were shocked to find a small deserted boat without any explanation of who it belonged to. What the Explorers did find out though, was that the storm had brought in an abundant amount of fish. Looks like it’s time to go fishing!

Soon, you’ll be able to cast a fishing line into the water. While you wait for a bite on your fishing rod, take a look at these snazzy Dizzywood fish you may catch if your bait is just right! ***A little note for all of you in search of the fishing rod. Someone has taken it, and it is nowhere to be found! We suspect it might be the workings of Withering, of course, because there was a note written in the sand telling us to look again tomorrow.
