Dizzywood Explorers Journal

A few Dizzywood citizens have been seen sporting way cool skateboards that let them zoom around. There’s even rumors floating that some of the skateboarders are doing cool tricks and jumps. There’s no word yet on how to obtain one–it’s still a big secret–but if you keep your eyes peeled, you just might see a lucky skateboard owner zooming by.

We’re busy at work producing a brand new area to explore–the crystal catacombs. It is an underground cavern located near the Explorer’s Camp. It is guarded by the dreaded Grool Grubnibbler, one of Emperor Withering’s henchmen. Only brave denziens of Dizzywood will dare to enter. It should be available for exploration soon. In the meantime, here’s some concept art to show what it will look like.

Here’s a special bulletin for our play-testers. Starting today, you can share Dizzywood with your friends. Just visit the Secret Agent in Presto’s Grove and talk to him. He’ll give you a special code word that you can give to your friends. They can use that special code word to create their own accounts at Dizzywood.com.

Halloween has arrived in Dizzywood. Presto’s Grove is decorated with pumpkins, scarecrows and other festive symbols for the holiday. But the really exciting news is that two mysterious crates have arrived with plenty of really cool costumes for everyone. You can be a pirate, skeleton, robot, and more. Hurry on over to join the party.

If you’re looking for some fun things to do while starting out in Dizzywood, be sure to stop by the Wizard Summoning circle in Presto’s Edge. Once you learn the magic summoning words, you’ll be able to call upon the Wizard to appear. When he appears, he’ll start a game for everyone in Presto’s Edge to play. The winner gets free items, such as new clothing. If you need some help on figuring out what the magic summoning words are, be sure to play close attention to the signs posted alongside the road. They reveal some important clues.

Wheeeeee! Without a doubt, the most fun you can have in Presto’s Grove is flying through the air after shooting yourself from the giant cannon. You can enter the cannon by walking right up to the door. You’ll find it right below the main wagons in the middle of Presto’s Grove. The best part is you always land safely without getting hurt. Watch out for falling people!
