Background:
Professor Pimpleton Plumpox is a mad scientist of crazed mind and ill temper who revels in creating destructive robots or foul mutants to terrorize the innocent animals of Dizzywood.

Plumpox was once a lowly fire troll who dreamed of becoming Dizzywood’s most famous scientist.  His first day at the Dizzywood Institute of Technology, though, he created a multi-tentacled slime monster in the chemistry lab.  As Plumpox howled with laughter, the slime monster destroyed half the school, leaving a trail of glowing putrid sludge in its wake.  (The slime monster’s current whereabouts are unknown.)  Plumpox was immediately expelled and vowed his revenge against the school, the city, and all the innocent animals of Dizzywood.  (As for his title of professor, he went on to receive his doctorate from a dental hygienist correspondence school.)

Derided as a danger to society, Plumpox was approached by Emperor Withering, who enlisted him into his henchmen, the infamous Underlings, as his chief mad scientist. One of his first acts was to create an army of chop-bots, walking tree-killing automatons, who razed all of the trees of serene Wildwood Glen to the ground. It was only through the combined efforts of the Dizzywood citizenry that the forest was regrown. Plumpox is also responsible for Withering’s belch factories, flying furnaces that suck nutrients out of the air and replace them with foul, toxic smoke.

When he’s not scheming with Withering on the Emperor’s flying zeppelin fortress, Plumpox works out of a secret laboratory near Skytown. It is rumored that Plumpox is working on some kind of ultimate doomsday robot that he will unleash on Canal City.

Plumpox also enjoys ballroom dancing and long walks on the beach.
