The Elder Vein Mines were created by the henchmen of Emperor Withering to rob the resources of the Crystal Catacombs. Monsters and robots set to work drilling and excavating, gathering as many crystals and as much elixir as they could. To power their vile machinery, mad scientist Professor Plumpox invented a device which siphoned the energy out of harmless critters and, in turn, transformed them into crystal critters.
Eventually, the mining went too far and caught the attention of Yagu, the jaguar ghost guardian of the Jaguar Temple and Crystal Catacombs. In a rage Yagu drove off Withering’s henchmen, shutting down the operation.

how do you actually get into the elder vein mines??
to get into the mines, you have to have a mining helmet. There is a broken one in the crystal catacombs. Pick it up, take it to Chanjo for repair, and then go 2 skytown and click on the firefly sprite and you will get a new lightbulb.
Does anyone know how to find the last 2 powerfull blue crystals in the jaguar temple?

I like a lot of places. Mainly the quiet ones.
But also the ones where you have to play games to get into it. xD
