Yagu is a jaguar ghost who guards the entrance to the sacred Jaguar Temple, near the Explorers’ Camp in Tanglevine Jungle. Yagu is renowned for his vigilance and his short temper. Anyone caught trying to sneak into the entrance to a Jaguar Temple will find themselves hurled backwards by his supernatural powers.
When Emperor Withering decided he wanted to steal a magical artifact called the Obsidian Monkey from the Jaguar Temple, Withering’s henchmen tricked Yagu into leaving his post. Ultimately, Yagu drove off the henchmen and shut down the mining operation in the Crystal Catacombs, but he has vowed to never be tricked away from his duty again.
