About Us

Dizzywood was a free, browser-based virtual world for kids where players could explore unique, imaginative areas and meet new friends in a safe environment. From Mayan‑themed jungles to super‑power challenges against the villainous Emperor Withering, children ages 8–12 created their own adventures, cooperated in story‑driven games, and learned while having fun.

The world launched in November 2007 and remained advertisement‑free throughout its run. At its height, Dizzywood welcomed over a million monthly visitors before closing on December 31, 2010.
